The long awaited 787 made by Sky spirit Developer Hiroshi Igami, Yosuke Ube is released. FSX Native MDL's FSX - FSX Jetliners FSX TDS Boeing 787-8 Base Pack Name: Size: 2,805,924 Date: Downloads: 343 FSX TDS Boeing 787-8 Base Pack. This is the set of FSX model files for TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) B787-8.
To use just replace the.mdl files which is in model folder; also sound in sound folder included. There are two types of engine for the 787, GENX and Trent1000. For use with base pack. By Tenkuu Developers Stuidio / Hiroshi I have merged already to the Aerosim VC 787.
Go to the 'FSX Simobjects airplanes (your VC choice) model' folder and copy the file '(your VC choice)interior.mdl' to the 'FSX Simobjects airplanes (your exterior model) model' folder. Open the 'model.cfg' in the '(your exterior model) model' folder and add the line 'interior=(your VC choice)Interior'.
Copy all VC textures from the '(your VC choice) texture' folder to the '(your exterior model) texture' folder. Copy the 'panel.cfg' from the '(your VC choice) panel' folder and paste it in the '(your exterior model) panel' folder, replacing the original one.and that's all there is to it. I thought I could remember how to attach a 'foreign' VC to an FSX model, but. Tried using the default 738 panel - works in 2D mode, no show in VC form - suspect its something to do with Aircraft.cfg file entries: can anybody give an idiot's guide to doing this properly - I suspect I'm not alone in my ignorance!Hopefully an adding a VC idiot's guide for you sir!
In this tutorial, you will learn to use drivers to control any property of one object by changing another objects properties. Drivers panel blenders parts. Drivers can be used to enhance rigs or constraint objects. Make sure to check out my new channel: -- Need Blender Support? You'll also learn how to use python to create advanced drivers.
I've used the default A-321 VC as a guide but the same steps will work for the default B737-800. There are three basic steps.
Fsx Boeing 787 Virtual Cockpit
We need to add the A321 VC interior model to the B787 model folder, alias the default A321 textures for the B787 VC and adjust the eyepoint in the B787 aircraft.cfg so we're sat in the captains seat!. 1. First, copy / paste your default AirbusA321interior.mdl file from your FSX SimObjects Airplanes AirbusA321 Model folder to your FSX SimObjects Airplanes TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA model folder. Now, open up the model.cfg file in your TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA model folder using notepad and add the 'interior model' details as follows: models normal=TDSX788TRENT.MDL interior=AirbusA321interior.mdl Hit Save not Save As and overwrite the original. 2. Second, copy / paste the texture.cfg file from your FSX SimObjects Airplanes AirbusA321 Texture folder to your FSX SimObjects Airplanes TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA texture folder. Next, open up the texture.cfg file in your TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA texture folder using notepad and edit to read as follows: fltsim fallback.1=.
AirbusA321 Texture fallback.2=. Scenery Global texture fallback.3=. Scenery Global textur e This will alias the default A321 VC textures to the VC model you just added in. 1. 3. Third, because the A321 VC model is in the wrong position relative to the B787 exterior model, we need to adjust the pilot 'eyepoint' to suit the A321 VC. So, open the aircraft.cfg file in your TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA folder using notepad and scroll down to the Views section.
Fsx Boeing 787 With Vc 2
Edit the eyepoint details as follows: Views eyepoint=38.50, -2.30, 4.25 Finally, start FSX and try out the VC for size! There are other ways of doing this but I've tried to do this as simply as possible. Hope it works for you!! If you also want the default A321 2D panel, just rename the TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA panel folder to something like panelold, then copy / paste the AirbusA321 panel folder in to your TDS788TRENTBOEINGN787BA folder. P.p.s Oops - sorry Dave, you beat me to it. Okay, regarding the VC, I just looked at the panel cfg and this is what I found. It appears the 737 cockpit module doen't know how to attach to the 787 fuselage It's attached just fine olderndirt, that's how it's supposed to look and you are almost there.
Your eyepoint settings just need to be adjusted so the cockpit view opens inside rather than outside the VC. See the coordinates above or try mine (using the 737-800 default VC + some custom textures from simviation). You can move inside it also using the Shift + Return/Backspace, Ctrl + Return/Backspace keys. NB: when splicing in a different VC I find you need to exit the sim altogether once or twice for everything to work. Views eyepoint = 38.000, -1.759, 2.10. Navcom frequency selects are lit.
