Thanks Shlomi - tried Unfortunately, can't see Deskjet 3745 in the list. The first Deskjet visible is 450, then 460 series, 5100 and so on. Later there are D series: Deskjet D1300 series and so on, there is a gap between D2600 series and D4100 series.

No 3745, nor any in the Three thousand series. Tried clicking 'Windows Update to see more models', after nearly an hour, got a message stating - try later or so. The second time it went on for over an hour, with the same result.

Does your post of 24th suggest that it is not possible to obtain the driver by way of Windows update?
