Reply by sneaksiegarrett on June 23, 2010 Your Con is wrong. There's always a way to make thief run, even on windows 7! I can run the full games on windows 7, so I don't see why the demo won't. Of course, you have to be willing to do some technical stuff in order to make it run, but it should run. You didn't explain what your specific problem was, but I just tried the demo on my windows 7 x64 system, and the only issue i had is the dual-core crash. The quick easy fix is to run task manager (alt tab out of the game) find thief.exe right click it and Set AffinityCPU 0 (uncheck CPU1) This will stop the game from freezing while playing.
