Codebreaker For Ps2 Iso
Wasn't sure where to put this, so if it's in the wrong spot, please move it. Found this over at Hax.
Allows you to use codebreaker with your ps2 classics, though there are some limitations-ie Final Fantasy games seem to have 'hidden files' so they won't work. I tried with 1 game so far (Ape Escape 2 for my kids to unlock all levels) and after I got out of codebreaker and tried to launch the game, all I got was a black screen. Thought I would share and see if we can get some sort of compatibility list going. I take no credit for this as I had nothing to do with it. To use codebreaker cheats open your game iso with ultraiso download this and extract now add the extracted files (boot.elf,codebreaker.elf, and system.cnf)to your iso, can just drag&drop into ultraiso. It will ask to overwrite SYSTEM.CNF/YES your iso should have a file name SCUS. or something to that effect, extract it to desktop and add.elf extension and repaste it into iso. So now your iso should have all original files + BOOT.elf, CB10.elf and your new SCUS.elf, save and resign as you would ps2 classic now once you start your new game, it will automatically start uLe, so you scroll down to cdfs directory. Now find the Codebreaker elf and hit O. Codebreaker starts. Scroll over to Cheats and find your game and select your cheats you want to use.

Press start and it should bring back to the main screen with the disc icon highlighted. Press X to load disk, it will start ULauncher again. Scroll down to cdfs directory and start you SCUS. elf file you created.
Your game should load with the cheats enabled. I have tested this with SocomII, and Socom3 . I've tried 2 different games now using this method and nether one I can get to work.
I did notice someone said there is another way, you just have to make a multi-disc game with codebreaker and the game, but I'm unsure as to how to do this. Any thoughts? EDIT: So I'm trying a method to create a multidisk ps2 game. Just FTP'ing over to my ps3 now.
Here is a package with all the files that I'm using along with a tutorial. Blitz ultra trainer v83.exe. I don't take any credit for this as I found it in various places on the internet and it has been many years since I've done anything PS2 related. K, so obviously I did something wrong.
After I created the iso, I packed it with aldo's ps2classicsgui. I ftp'd it over to the ps3 and loaded it with multiman. The cdloader actually loads but neither codebreaker nor silent hill loads up. Or an easier way to accomplish this task?
Click to expand.I've been fighting with the multidisc thing now since Friday and still can't get it to work properly. I can get ule and codebreaker to launch but can't get the game to launch.

The reason being is LBA (which not all games are dependent on, apparently some games only use TOC, which is why the guides say to add the files in order of the LBA number that you see in isobuster). I'm going to give it a break for now and I have a week off coming up in a couple of weeks. I'll have another go at it then. Sorry if I am wrong, but don't ps2 classics use the software emulator? And if they do, couldn't we use openps2loader? On my ps2, I load codebreaker, select my cheats, and go back to ule with the elf launching codebreaker. After that, I load Openps2loader, select my game and the cheats work.
I'm pretty sure I heard that openps2loader worked on fat ps3's with hardware bc. I think the software emulator worked with it, but with the obvious problems loading games on it had. But now that we have ps2 classics, I would assume the emulator itself has been updated.
If not then it is using a different emulator. I haven't messed with it on ps3, but it would be much better if we could get it working, and probably much simpler.

CodeBreaker functions on all PS2 Consoles, supports USB Keyboards and has a 3 year product warranty. 1342 Games 151486 Codes This is an ISO version of CodeBreaker V10 File Sizes: Compressed = 3.52 MB UnCompressed = 1.16 GB Tested and working on PCSX2 v0.9.8 (r4600) Tested on HardModed Fat PS2 (generation 1) working Both tested with Suikoden 4 (Original and Burnt) I do not have a soft modded PS2 so I have no clue how it would work with that. The file size is mainly a dummy size just to make the console read it as it will not recognize a small DVD image. Thus how the compressed size is so small.
Found on kicka$$torrents Hope you enjoy. I personally prefer GameShark but this version of Codebreaker pretty much has all the codes for every game I want to play. Where the latest gameshark that was CD only does not.
