Cracked Steam Unable To Connect

Hey, I'm going to be taking my laptop on holiday for some gaming here and there and was wondering how to get Steam to work in Offline Mode? When I switch to it and it restarts, upon restarting it says: 'Unable to connect to the Steam network.

'Offline Mode' is unavailable because there is no login information stored on this computer. You will not be able to use Steam until you can connect to the Steam network again.' Kind of defeats the purpose of Offline Mode doesn't it?

Does anyone have a fix? Or is it time to bust the Steam.dll/no-CD cracks out?

I have it all set to auto-login like it states, and I go to the Offline Mode option in the top left hand corner and I get the error. If I disconnect from the Internet it does the same thing, just comes up with the 'Unable to connect to the Steam network.

'Offline Mode' is unavailable because there is no login information stored on this computer. You will not be able to use Steam until you can connect to the Steam network again.' Error no matter what, it claims there is no Steam login information stored on my computer. Right I exited Steam manually, and disconnected from my network and then tried to reopen Steam and got the same bull.

Always-on DRM = fail. Offline Mode hasn't and still doesn't work for hundreds of people, a quick Google search tells you that, and sadly none of the fixes actually work.

Remember, just because something works for you doesn't mean it will work for everyone, and it doesn't mean it's an issue on their end. Got illegal pirated versions of games I actually legally own on my laptop now, lel. Fsx boeing 787 with vc x.

Steam Not Able To Connect

I remember when Blizzard got crucified for something similar to this, dem double standards. Edit: Offline Mode works perfectly on my PC, wonder what it has against my laptop.
